Day 01 :

Kathgodam to Gogina (Drive – 8-9 Hours)

Your adventure begins with an early morning pickup at 6:30 AM from Kathgodam in a shared Bolero. The scenic drive takes you through winding mountain roads, lush valleys, and remote villages before reaching Gogina Village by 5:00 PM.

Upon arrival, settle into your campsite, enjoy a hearty dinner, and rest up for the trek ahead.

Day 02 :

Gogina to Namik Village (4 km Trek)

After a nutritious breakfast, start the trek towards Namik Village, a short but scenic 4 km walk through lush forests and terraced fields. The trail has a mix of gradual ascent and descent. Upon reaching Namik Village campsite, enjoy a freshly cooked lunch. Spend the evening exploring the village, interacting with the locals, and enjoying a traditional dinner before an overnight stay at the campsite.

Day 03 :

Namik Village to Thala Bugyal via Parwa Thor & Bajimanian Kharak (8 km Trek)

Begin the trek early at 7:00 AM after breakfast, carrying a packed lunch. The trail gradually ascends through dense forests and crosses Parwa Thor and Bajimanian Kharak, offering glimpses of the surrounding peaks. Reach Thala Bugyal, a stunning high-altitude meadow, by late afternoon.

Enjoy the panoramic views, have dinner, and stay overnight at the Thala Bugyal campsite.

Day 04 :

Thala Bugyal to Ranthan Top via Thal Top / Chofu Top and Back to Chofu Top (10 km Trek)

This is the most challenging and rewarding day of the trek. Start early at 6:00 AM after breakfast with a packed lunch. The first section from Thala Bugyal to Thal Top is a steep 1.5 km ascent, followed by a gradual climb to Ranthan Top (3,900m). From here, enjoy breathtaking 360° views of Panchachuli Peaks, Khaliya Bugyal, Nanda Kot, and Kafni Glacier.

After spending time at the summit, trek back to Chofu Top campsite for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05 :

Chofu Top to Namik Village (10 km Trek)

Wake up to a beautiful sunrise, enjoy breakfast, and begin your descent back to Namik Village. The 10 km trek takes you through forests and meadows, retracing the trail.

Arrive at Namik campsite for a freshly cooked lunch, relax in the village, and enjoy a warm dinner before an overnight stay.

Day 06 :

Namik Village to Gogina (4 km Trek)

After breakfast, take time to explore the village community and learn about the local culture and traditions. On the way back to Gogina, stop by the Ramganga River, where you can enjoy the serenity of the flowing water.

Reach Gogina in the afternoon, enjoy your last dinner in the mountains, and prepare for departure the next day.

Day 07 :

Gogina to Kathgodam (Return Drive – 8-9 Hours)

After an early breakfast, bid farewell to the Himalayas and start your return drive to Kathgodam.
Arrive by evening, marking the end of your Ranthan Kharak Trek adventure.
